Hummus

one 15 oz. can chickpeas, reserving 1/2 C liquid
1/2  C Tahini (Sesame Paste)
3 minced garlic cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cayenne (red) pepper
2 TB fresh lemon juice
1/4 C chopped yellow onion
2 tsp ground cumin

chopped fresh parsley - optional


Chill until flavors blend, about 3 to 4 hours.
Serve cold.


makes about 2 cups


Notes:
1/4 C = 4 TB (WW 4 points)
