Caraway Rye Bread

I mix and knead the dough in my Oster Bread Machine and bake in the oven. This recipe comes from Lora Brody and Millie Apter's Bread Machine Baking.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 tb butter
3 cups unbleached white flour
3/4 cup plus 2 tb rye flour
2 tb caraway seeds
2 tb sugar
1 1/2 tb powdered skim milk
1 tb gluten
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp yeast

Place all the ingredients in the machine, use any program and press start. After dough is completed, bake in oven at 350 degrees. The bread is done at 190 to 200 degrees using a thermometer.
