I purchased a bag of fresh yellow squash crinkly cuts for fries at Trader Joe's, a seasonal specialty item.
A great side dish.
Don't make them the way I did, try this way, using an air fryer. Season first with a spray of oil, salt pepper, garlic and/or onion powder. Toss.
They will be tasty if they are not well done. Set for 10-14 minutes at 375°, turning the pieces over at halfway. I tried at 400° and they cooked too fast for my control and too well done.
